As the title says I have a barn fresh April 1974 FJ40 project. I purchased two as a package. I'd like to keep both of them but I can't so this one must go. It has a suprisingly good frame with surface rust and from what I can tell no rot. The body is pretty good as well with the worst spot being the drivers side floorboard but it is not rusted through. It could be used as is but would be an easy fix in that floorboard. The bed is good and the doors are real good. Windows work good and has the side vents in the windows. The seats are there but not that good. The tires are 33" Super Swampers with aftermarket rims. They have tread but show dry rot. They may work for the trail but not for the highway. The windshield is there but no glass. Transmission feels pretty good. It also has a little shackle lift.

THE BAD: Engine has no carburetor and I have not tried to crank it. The guy I bought them from says he bought it not running and he thinks the engine is bad so I'd plan on rebuilding, putting in a 2F, or maybe a V-8.

I have about 50 pictures of various areas so if you are serious I'll be glad to send them to you.

Asking $1250 but I'm open to offers or maybe a PIG trade.

Does it come with a hardtop? What sort of timeframe are you on to get rid of it?

No title - Georgia doesn't require one on vehicles of this age.

No top included

Had too long to think about it and I've decided to keep it and get it running. Thanks for the replies.

From the looks of it, that's a wise move. Good luck!!

Thanks, the pictures don't do it justice. I have a parts 76 model that I'm going to try to use the 2F out of if it will cooperate.
