For the morning group the plans are:

Meeting at my house (PM for address) at 9:30 AM for breakfast (yes, I'll cook)
Leaving around 10:30 AM for Tellico
Traveling to Murphy (ETA 1:00 PM) and over Trail 1
Wheeling across Trail 4 and down Trail 5 then out to the house
If we don't make it by dinner, send out the reinforcements

I would love to leave at 9:30 with you guys but I will be heading out around noon with Oscar (he doesn't get off work until 6 AM and has not been to Tellico before). Are you riding on Friday or just heading to the cabin and hanging out?

Any word on if they actually have moved the guardrails in place to block the trails? I know that they are supposed to move them but haven't heard it has actually been done.
 
We'd love to have you! But I do understand that Oscar needs to sleep.

I have not heard if the rails are up yet, but official word is that the trails are closed. STLCA is really working hard to keep the powers that be happy and to reduce erosion, etc up there, so I would still recommend staying off any trail that is noted as closed. But I know you know that....just a public service announcement for anyone else reading the thread (there I go with the greenie stuff again).

We are going to ride Friday, but on the way to the cabin. Buy the time you get there, I hope to be well into Trail 4. We'll have FRS radios and I'll keep them on channel 3, 4, or 5 (whichever is free) so shout at us if you get up there!
 
Hippie! (jk) Don't wheel on any of the suspect trails no matter what, better safe than sorry.
 
Anyone from Atlanta leaving later in the day? My cousin will be driving up from Marietta after work, about 5-6ish, andI would like him to hook up with someone on the way up, if possible.
 
I will be. I plan on leaving Woodstock at about 6 or 6:30. Your cousin could meet me at my house to caravan. PM on the way.
