I might go to camp fri. night &do some wheeling sat.Prob going to bring my boy(Gavin-6).It would be cool to get some 80's together.I only live 1-hr. away, lets do it.

As it gets closer to the date we should be in touch before you head out there. As most cell phones don't work there,or maybe there is some areas way up the big hills.Does anyone know if you can get a signal out there?

My rig is everything stock... Will it be ok?

You will be fine Ting, you are driving a land cruiser! We can do some easy trails,do you care about pin stripe scratches?I want to take it easy also.

I will probably go....I will take my little bugger too. Will try to invite my buddy navid with his 80...Haven't really wheeled since surf and turf..Although I am most likely going to just take pictures....

Hey dudes, I'm up for Hollister and meeting some of the 80 series central coast crew. Been lurking on/off on this site and been waiting for a trip just like this. Will look in again as the date approaches.

I'll go, will be driving my 82 fj40 though since my 80 is at 4x4labs getting the rear bumper updated:)

I am in lovely Redwood City, Ca in between San Jose and San Francisco, I think I met you at Surf and Turf ? I had the green 80 with rear drawer system. I also brought my dog Romeo who was digging trenches all over camp:)

Count me in for one if not both days.

Haven't been down there in a long time, mind if I bring my trailer for Friday night?
Count me in, be nice to meet some of you guys.

I didn't orgnize this event. :) Check with Ranger if you can bring yuor trailer or not.

You can bring your trailer and area 5 in Hollister Hills is perfect for the larger units but they dont have waste and power hook ups.

There is a 40% chance of showers on Friday so be , I tell you Hollister is a lot more fun in the mud. I'll show up Saturday morning and find you guys. Is there a designated CB channel?

I called and the Ranger said no problem with a 21 footer in the Sycamore area. And that rain thing will just add to the fun.

Navid-I saw your 80 at 4x4 Labs 2 days ago. That rig still looks really good and no paint scratches. Time for a ride into the "Cruiser Zone" (I am assuming you have seen Jay's video)

Thanks Andy, yes not much serious wheeling lately due to travel and purchasing an apartment. Mostly just Hollister and Frank Rains a couple of times, building the truck to run the Con with the 80's list and do Moab again. Besides the upgrade on the bumper I am also replacing the suspension to either frankies offroad or slee 4", regreaing to 4:88's and purchasing a set of 315's, right now its either the toyo Mt's or Dunlop Mud Rover's. Looking forward to the new rear bumper:)
