We went on a quick trip up caney fork tonight. We went past the big mud hole and where it gets steep and twisty there set a d8 dozer and a track hoe. We went passed the dozer then there was huge mud burms so we turned around. So long story short no going up mull creek no more... We did go up sugar ck but there has been no traffic up that way at all..

We just got back from Caney Fork today and all I can say is OMG! It was some really technical wheeling, we got hopelessly lost and had to spend the night and wait for daylight, we were close to the BRP for a little bit running concurrently with the Moutain to sea trail. This would be a great run for Over the mountain.

BTW, all was open with no signage. We did speak with Ronnie Deitz at the OHV and he said that we were good to go with a legal vehicle just dont go past the tank traps.

BTW part 2, here is my wifes perspective;`OMG! I thought many times, we were going to die. I got out and walked several times as the gulleys were so deep, that we were going to completely tip over. Not much scares me, but by the end of the night at 9:30pm and we had no idea where we were (even with our GPS) I thought this was the road to hell. All ended well though, after camping out, the next morning, we discovered the road we thought ended at the campsite after trying that earlier the previous day, and turning around and going up again on the "road to hell", due to 2 feet deep mud holes and overgrowth, was actually the road out. The highlight of the evening was we had a nice campfire, albeit late, and nice day the next day on the way out. For all of you wives, the next time he says, "we'll just keep going a little further up this road" when things appear bad to you, stop, turn around! Or, if you really, really like multiple adrenaline rushes, this is the place to go.
