I have a 1974 FJ40 that a neighbor dropped a tree through the roof of. The roof is a total loss and the metal was bent to a pretzel. That being said, I have picked up a CCOT Rain Gutter as well as a classic cruisers reproduction fiberglass lid but I can not seem to find the correct...

Does anyone have any advice how to remove these upper door jambs from the roof channel? It seems like they are two pieces and the bolts are sandwiched between. If I pry I am afraid to bend them. Can someone with experience chime in?

It looks like I will be cutting the steering shaft and welding on a new rag joint coupler to remove the extra few inches of shaft length. JTO sells a weld on coupler.
