Does anyone have any advice how to remove these upper door jambs from the roof channel? It seems like they are two pieces and the bolts are sandwiched between.

If I pry I am afraid to bend them.

Can someone with experience chime in?

Hopefully someone will chime in because it has been several years.
If I remember, you have to pry the inside of the bottoem towards the window side. Then the bottom will pop down exposing the bolts.

I believe this is correct, while also maybe pushing/sliding the bottom piece forward toward the windshield (or was it back/ away from?). Sorry to be vague, it’s been a while for me too. But seemed like a combo of prying the bottom out, while sliding it left or right, is what worked for me.

Did you remove the three screws on the inside? Those have come.out first. Once those are out run something thin between the two piece on inside along the bottom in case the two pieces are rusted together. Then force the inner piece down. It takes some force and hopefully the top outer edge they are rust there. With the two pieces separated the three bolt heads are exposed.

To me , these things are rust welded together. Best way I found is to soak the inside, top and bottom, with BP Blaster or similar item first. A long piece of wood and a mallet. Tap tap tap to work it loose. Nothing mean just tap. It has been like this for maybe 40 years. It ain’t coming loose in 30 seconds. Like others have said, they are snapped together.
