Appears my Master and Slave cylinders have finally succumbed to age and use. Replacing the Master with original parts does not seem to be an option any longer. Has anyone been successful with swapping for parts from other years or models....or know of a good rebuild kit?

I'm curious what the outcome was for you on this issue? I am also considering a non-electric pump due to smoky-chokey starts. TIA!

I just realized I hadn’t responded… your feedback was spot on, it turned out to be the fuel pump primer. My mechanic figured that out shortly before I had the opportunity to ask him if it was the issue keeping it from running. So now it runs but is super rough and lots of white smoke on...

GTSSportCoupe, do you have any words of wisdom on most efficient way to chase possible bubbles/blocks/leaks in fuel system? The pump is working and timed properly and there is fuel flowing thru the filter.

First question: Has anyone had troubles with fuel injection system after dis-assembly for head replacement? My rig is currently at mechanic for replacement of cracked up 2LTE for a 3L head and can't get the fuel injection system settled back in. Timing has been inspected...

Since the installing mechanic hooked it directly to the battery, the wire is already thru the firewall. If I connect to the small fuse box under the hood, do I connect to the IG stud or the IG fuse with fuse tap so it is fuse protected?
