Take the whole fender off and deconstruct. There is a bit of bow to it Keep the door gap in mind And as I’ve heard here before ‘it’s only metal!’ Good fabbing practice. What ever you make it can be done better, but what you make you will be happy with! My two cents

How do you get primer/ sealer in all the inside areas? Is it a dip type thing.
