Thanks, I have a LJ so it's 12v, might be other wires. I'll measure the gauges on the ones I removed, but from what I understand these are 0.5, 0.5 and 1.0 mm squared wires.

And by banned I mean wired fusable links. I can get flat style metal links (as in image) that goes into a box in the shop here, but I need to figure out the resistance loads to get the right ones for replacement.

Thanks a bunch! I’ll start poking around this weekend but the pump surely looks wet from diesel. Any part specific number/model on that Bosch primer pump if that turns out to be the issue?

Well, the good news is my 73 is not leaking oil. The less good news it's leaking diesel. Any suggestions where to start my search? It's dry (as in non leaky) from the tank to the filter and onward. I guess the pump is where I start looking unless there is another common part that likes to leak...
