Any news on the scanning front? also interested as i'm currently redoing a bunch of wiring (although BJ74, similar enough)

How do i get this thing up? I feel crazy, but i don't want to break my original plastic parts. I unscrewed the two in the front and still it feels anchored on the engine side of the plastic piece. Pics for reference.

oh btw, i also have a guy on island that custom builds radiators and made mine, it's a beaut.

I heavily disagree with how negative eurasiaoverland is being... landcruisers on this island specifically retain their value because of the overwhelming military presence. Heat destroys engines but we're in Japan, maybe the second best place (Oz) for LC parts. I replaced my 13BT once already...

Also heard good things about them

Floridian civie that made Oki home, here. My Okinawan wife loves my '88BJ74 but it has been a dramatic 5 years of ownership here on Okinawa, dude. I been out here in total 20 years, and can give pointers on anything from where to wheel, to where you can get cheap tires (Miyagi junk yard) OEM...

Just wondering if yall can identify with a good picture: Is the black box in the lower of the picture with the foam popping out of the box what I'm looking for?

@Stone - Thank you so much for this! Here I am finally getting around to removing mine in an '88 BJ74 in 2024 and was trying to figure out how exactly i'd do that... Much appreciated, I'll try this when I get home.

Initial set of pics... just picked this thing up... Cheers, and any suggestions are welcome...Never owned a Cruiser, diesel, nor turbo before... Learning!

Just bought one of these beautiful monsters, will update with more pics once I'm driving it and the appraisal is finished.
