I'm looking to get a brandnew VNT turbo from Impex-jp. Now when i look at the partnumbers, i should have 17201-17070, but they don't list that, only 17201-17050. After some searching both those numbers appear to be VNT turbos for a 1HDFTE.
Does anyone have the knowledge to know if those turbos...
Hi Michael!
Unfortunately a visit to the states is not in the books anytime soon.
I'm toying with the idea to ship over my diesel 100 series daily one day. Drive around the us for a while and sell it. It needs to be over 25 year old, but it's "only" 18 now. So that won't happen for at least 7...
Unfortunately i have nothing left out of a 2H of 12HT.
The harmonic balancer should swap over. The crank itself should also perform in a 12HT, the only thing i would be worried about is breaking the crank. That's what happenend to mine years ago. It broke in a spot with more meat then a 2H...
I've had 2H and 12HT cranks side by side. They would definately swap out, but the 12HT crank has more meat in some areas.
Not all, but some off the journals have a wider casting. Not sure if my explanation makes sense. ;)
Has anybody ever tried to order 81111-60P90? It's the same set, but comes with the buckets and trim ring. I'm wondering if the buckets will fit a square bezel 40 series.
Thanks,
Mark
Looking good Matt!
And no problem at all. I have spend more time on my 45 last week than i have in the six months before. It deserves some attention ;)
Hi Michael, All has been well over here. Our family business got a hit in the beginning of the pandemic, but we managed that okish.
My wife and i where in the planning stages of a 3 to 4 week roadtrip thru the US, with a dedicated stop in Huntsville ;) The pandemic put an end to that...
I agree that I should have installed new O rings. I'll keep an eye out and might just order them and swap them anyway. I'll also flush the whole system again with fresh AHC fluid.
@aharlan001
I did just that. I went thru about 12 quarts of fluid in total, both new and recycled after a while. It worked ok for a few weeks, but lately it got worse, up to a point this morning that the pump was screaming and there was no movement at all. Clearing codes did nothing, the codes...
I believe you got one number wrong. 88891-60060 is the one you need, not 60050.
The other numbers are correct.
I just did the conversion on my 2004 last week.
