Depending on what country it came from, I agree with rick_d that cooling could be a issue. Also check the places 1Ton said about rust. Windshield area usually leaks causing this and also under the fender flares.

Thank you! I live in the states and already have a good relationship with an importer, so I think im going to take a similiar route as yourself... Hopefully I can get some half doors but to be honest just a pair of cut normal doors would be fine seeing as how rare finding these parts are. :)

I think this may have been brought up before but.... After doing some research I have yet to come across an idea for rear half doors on an 1987 FJ73. I plan on removing the frp top... but the top of the rear doors on this particular truck are not removable (which is kind of funny for toyota...
