I'm all for the simple and effective route that looks factory. Dials > Push Buttons. I would like to still have good indicator lights. This is what I would model the finished product to look like with the capability to throw a DiN unit above it. Thank you for all your hard work on this project!

I never pulled the trigger on it. I kept looking for information about aftermarket head units with Nav delete. All the reviews seemed mixed.. I really don't want to loose my air conditioning

I came across this video, it was posted by this user. -> c2dfj45 They claimed it works with Mark Levinson audio. I'm considering taking a stab at it.

Following... I have a 2002 LX. This unit looks amazing! I saw the video on YouTube from the OP and fished for this thread. Glad I found it. I was also curious if anyone has bought one. I see them available on EBay if anyone has a recommended seller I would love to snag one.

Is it possible to turn the pre 2003 LX470 navigation into a pre 2003 LC Manual AC bezel? By splicing in the wiring harness?

Do you still have the radio and manual AC control bezel? As well as the harness?
