    Floor Mats

It would just depend on which one you prefer more. Mine came with the original, blue and grey spiral patterned carpet floor mats but they definitely show their age. The rubber/ plastic ones come in handy, if the truck does work. I have seen the other example as well, Imperial, I think is the...

    Floor Mats

Hey all, After carefully comparing the pictures in the link to what I “have” in my ‘96 TZ Prado (3rd) row. They do look very similar. The pattern and how they cover around the rear seat (2nd row) look almost identical. I did not purchase mine, myself. They came with the vehicle when I got it a...

Which oils for gearbox, transfer case and differentials

I misread the fluid spec page when I first serviced the fluids and mistook 90 SAE as “any” 90 weight. Just ended up using Amsoil 75-90, have not heard or felt any grumbles. As with anything, proper interval changes is best practice. 👍 Enjoy

Anyone use the Vanlife NW fan clutch?

Honestly, that's what I ended up doing. After searching around, I did find a company out West called Red Line Cruisers and they made a modified fan clutch to fit 80-series (Blue), as well as other Toyotas (Green, Pink, etc). I didn't use them, in part, after doing an extensive part number...

    Lockup Trouble

This could be very similar to what I experienced recently on a small road trip I had to take for work. The drive was about 100mi each way. On the drive back, it was very hot out. I think the heat index was pushing 100'F and the gauge on the center console was reading 32'C, not sure where it gets...

KZJ95 Prado: Advice on rear heater

Jake, I have the same TZ trim as you do, with Rear cool and heat. From what I gathered, the “cool” works in tandem with the engine A/C compressor, under the hood. There is (I believe) a 2nd condenser, the driver side (mine is RHD) in the rear underneath 3rd row seat. You should see a cutout...

What battery size are you using?

So that’s what the “F” stands for 😄 Glad to hear they fit! 👍

What battery size are you using?

I had a similar issue around the time that I got my KZJ95. Just ended up doubling or adding "two" of whatever was used in the 3rd Gen 4Runner. I think it was either a Group 24 or 34, can't recall which. Wouldn't be bad to start there.
