Its my understanding that both sensors are identical only different in wire lengths. Is your wiring good? Can you verify voltage patterns at the Diagnostic port? Clean connections?

NTK was OEM for 93 and 94. The only difference for front/rear is the length of the wiring.

Yes to both. I re-spliced the harness with waterproof connectors, resealed it up and the code is cleared. I'm pretty sure the shielding is just a ground, it metered out to battery negative at 0.3 Ohms.

This is probably my problem.

So more my question is regarding the shielding blue colored wire. This has obviously been cut and repaired very poorly previously.
