I'm happy with my OME BP-51s. If I had to do it all over again, I probably would opt for Dobinsons MRR or Kings. My brother-in-law had Icon Stage 5 and had nothing but problems with them.
My recommendation is to contact ARB to receive the most current fitting instructions. It's been some time since I installed my system, but here's what I remember:
The preload from the factory comes set to 20, which assumes that you have accessories installed (metal bumpers/bar, winch, 2nd...
Unfortunately, yes. You would need to remove and then set the preload from 0 to 5 max. I think I set mine to 3 as I have a drawer system, but no metal bumper, spare tire, accessories, etc.
But this would definitely explain the harsh ride.
Before installing, did you adjust the pre-load for the weight of your load? If not, you'll have a very stiff ride. I did a write-up on this here: NorCal "Sleeper" Build - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/norcal-sleeper-build.1272704/#post-14223683
I thought you couldn't use the Ridg or Dirtcom products as the top of the swing will collide with the tailgate when lowered. Can anyone confirm?
It looks like the Wilco and Rigid might work, though. I'm leaning towards the Wilco.
I wish that Dirtcom would create an LC200 version.
I'm selling a brand-new BudBuilt Catalytic Converter Guard, never installed. Long story short, when I took the guards into the shop to be installed, the mechanic installed a different guard they had on hand for Tundras. Rather than going through the hassle of switching them out, I'm just going...
It depends on your need and what you're carrying. I have a family of four, so roof rack space is critical. I appreciate that the Rhino-Rack is flat, with no lips or bolts to poke or interfere with any gear. I love the Dissent stuff but would shy away from their rack due to the bolts.
I've successfully used the EcoFlow products, and you can usually get a deal on them at Costco every other month. I would buy a big battery vs. a small battery + solar panels, as those panels take up a lot of room.
I'm usually on the move, so the car tops off the battery. The panels might make...
Installed the Rear Seat Monitor Delete Panels from Victory 4x4 today. Install took around 30 minutes and was easy to do. Very happy these are no longer in the way!
