Hey, which rear springs do you have? I put in the medium load, and my installer said my Firestone airbags didn’t fit, o talked to IronMan, they said they should have, about to go to a new installer and see if they will. I’m good fully loaded until I put the trailer on, then I’m squatting. Thanks.

Same. keep foot near brake and right hand near the cruise control lever to disengage without braking if needed. 100's of hours doing this in my 2016.

Thanks, I’ve been up in the Sierras 100’s of times, I’m actually looking for a chain or cable that fits the KO2, putting them on is the easy part. Going from Bishop to Mammoth, I’ve had to prove I had chains a dozen times.

Thanks for quick response, what brand of chains did you use on your 17's? Maybe it's a brand issue, because Peerless didn't even come close to fitting, too big or too small.

Hey @gaijin I can attest that chains and cables fit in the wheel well for the rear - which is where they belong as you stated, not sure why people were talking about the front. I'm in SoCal - 100's of trips to Mammoth in a 100 and 200, only put chains on 1x, but have had to prove I had them 30+...

What tire did you have for that chain model? I’m running LT285/60/18KO2’s and haven’t found chains or cables that fit properly. I think you have same tire but found this thread in a search, TIA.

Ok, read this entire thread, A LOT of discussion. I Have LT285/60/18KO2’s on O offset KMC rims and 2” Lift. I KNOW I have plenty of room for chains, but back to what I though was the original question…what chain fits the KO2?? I tried 2 different sizes last season, neither fit, and barely got...

I talked to a guy who went this past weekend, came out before it got shut down, he said it was really busy. Moot point now because it's been closed down by USFS. Might hit a patch of private land on the Owens if it calms down by Thursday, otherwise, I'll watch what could be the only NFL games...

I was on GAIA maps and saw that the castle fire is pretty close to Monache meadows, and looks like the only access is from the 395 and Kennedy meadows. Anyone out there last weekend? Is it bad air quality?
