Lx470 VVTi misfires on startup, random stalling during low throttle

I replaced the fuel pump and the tensioner pulley assembly over the weekend, and that seems to have solved the problem. The fuel trims look much better now. I think the tensioner was a contributor, but I don't want to speculate until I have the time to pull it apart and inspect it further. The...

Lx470 VVTi misfires on startup, random stalling during low throttle

Thanks OEMGUY for the response, I also noticed that as well and did check the hoses and all was good, tight and nothing was cracked. Yeah, kind of frustrating, but the fuel trims have been pretty telling as I have been driving a little and noticing some more oddities.

Lx470 VVTi misfires on startup, random stalling during low throttle

I still have my old ones as spares. The misfire codes have been all random, but I did swap back and forth to see if I could get it to follow with no luck.

Lx470 VVTi misfires on startup, random stalling during low throttle

Anybody have any ideas on this issue? Do you need more context? Is there another method to testing the fuel pump? Thanks all for any support.

Lx470 VVTi misfires on startup, random stalling during low throttle

Hello all, I have been narrowing down an intermittent fault I keep having. Deduced the spark plugs, coil packs are not the issue along with the battery and alternator as potential problems. It started a couple weeks ago, when we were coming back from a beach trip and the LX just died when...

2006 LX - Cam Position Sensor

I believe I was able to figure it out, the GX part number looks to be the correct as it has the 3-pin connector for the VVTi 4.7. The part number is in the pic below. I hope this helps others with this oddity.

2006 LX - Cam Position Sensor

Hello all, I am stumped, my original cam position sensor harness is a 3 pin/wire connector and the one I ordered directly from Bell Lexus with part number 1930050020 is a 2 pin/wire connector. It seems they updated this design at some point and didn't keep the original 3 pin connector. I...

2006 LX470 Baseline work and intro

Wow, last time I updated this was 2021! Well, 3-4k in parts later I am pretty much done and happy with where I am at. The last touch was a slight sensor lift to get it closer to leveling out. I can't tell you how much I didn't enjoy doing the steering rack myself. I really wish I had an...

2006/7 VGRS equipped LX470 Steering rack

Thanks @2001LC for the thorough reply. I also was skeptical about that Toyota part number as well. I put my VIN in PQ again and didn't get that Toyota unit as a substitution. Sorry, must have fat lingered my VIN when I put it in. I agree, the 60120 is the right unit for VGRS equipped LX's...

2006/7 VGRS equipped LX470 Steering rack

There are quite a few threads on this topic and questions on part numbers. Assuming Partsouq is correct here, can we get an answer from the parts experts if the below will work for the Lexus with the VGRS system. It seems the discontinued part ending in 4420060120 has the tie rod ends and no...

Looks good! How did you adjust the LSPV if you don't mind me asking? I need to do this, as my braking is less than desirable.

    AHC woes

@AtinLango, did you not read what @suprarx7nut wrote? You most likely have a pressure issue. Did you remove the jerry cans and try to raise it to H? If not, give it a shot and if it raises up, you have your answer. Turn the torsion bars as previously mentioned until you can raise the vehicle...
