similar issue in my 80 series i have tried all; the solution was changing the carbons of the vacum pump, a guy told me alt worked through this vacum pump, i allways thougt that it was the alt or a electrical problem changed 2 alternators already with no solution until now; im enjoying the solution.

awsome, im gonna do it asap, and what do you think about swaping the 80amp alt to a 150amp alt? does it affect the car, battery or cables on a bad way?

when the car is running and the lights or a/c are OFF the charghe is 13,4 and im not sure what do you mean by start, i think the whole car is 12V
