Will those motors need protection from water ingress? Was looking at using them myself on a project but think something sealed would be better now.

You could omit the gearbox and re-gear your diff ratios or even just use a reduction gearbox like: https://www.torquetrends.com/products

Loving your project mate!! You do make it entertaining, but hard to watch at the same time as it reminds me all too much of the "first time" i restored my FJ45.... Keep it up and grow the hair.

Nice work mate, looking at doing a similar project soon. Quick question with the rear doors, how have you made them and do they still accept the original glass and winding mechanism?
