2009 Troopy finally in Canada (Tire Question!)

No, I don't own that place. I live in the same town as the previous owners of your Troopy. I helped them with minor issues when they first acquired the rig. Le Garage is where they had the major repairs done, a few hours east of us.

2009 Troopy finally in Canada (Tire Question!)

I know that Troopy, it used to live in my pueblo here in the Auzero Peninsula. I've actually done some minor repairs on it when it first arrived in town. Enjoy your new rig!

    Seat Covers

I second the Black Duck Seat Covers as I have them in my Troopy. I got the black waxed canvas type and they work great here in the jungle.

    KZJ78 Value in the States

When I had the Troopy in the States, I had full coverage along with stated value thru Progressive. I did have to pay more than a normal premium due to the Troopy being a “grey market vehicle”

I recently started to have an intermittent “chatter” with my PS front brake caliper, as well as noticed a little bit of brake fluid leaking from the master cylinder. So I replaced the leaky master cylinder with a new OEM unit, took the opportunity to remove the LSPV, completely rebuilt both...

    Refrigerant capacity for a 2002 HZJ78

Hey y’all, I searched and searched and just can’t find the amount of R134a needed for my ac system. My Troopy has a 1HZ motor with the factory front ac only. Thanks in advance for any info. Rob

Haha thanks, I’m an American living in Panama, I’ve owned Toyota trucks since I was 16 and when I discovered the 70 series line up while living in Central America I had to have one. I just drove it to the States for a work contract so I could have a vehicle while in Califas, and to haul back...

As for the engine and drivetrain, installed a radiator bashplate from OZ, new rear main seal, pilot bearing, Excedy clutch kit, and blanch ground the flywheel. Also put in a completely new transfer case, it was a $500 difference between new and rebuilt, so I went with a new unit. Also extended...

I have been getting ready to drive back to Panama and am taking advantage of the ease of attaining parts and accessories here in the States. On the interior I have added a Whelen PA system with emergency type horn, a set of Black Duck seat covers from OZ, fabbed up some cup holders, installed a...
