Smoltz nailed this one- some WD40, a wire brush and 15 minutes to clean off corrosion and she fired right up. Thanks, hope they are all this easy.

Appreciate it, ill take a look tonight.

Regards, 07 LC, 222k miles, overall great shape. A year ago at a gas station, ran into the issue first time- everything normal through key insertion, AC on, but when i turn to start everything shuts off. Unhooking the battery, rehooking solved the issue. Came up again this week, i can get...

Yeah, that would work. Mine is an 01 so should be the same. Hard part will be installing it ha ha. Let me know $$

Mine was rebuilt by Certified Transmission, came with a 3yr/100k warranty. Failure was due to Transmission being out of fluid, friction tore up the gears.

I had a cracked radiator where the transmission fluid cycles into the radiator. This created a very slow leak which I did not spot and it caught up to me. By the time I changed out the fluid it was toast. Lots of metal chunks in the pan. So, I am an idiot for not noticing in time and killing my...

I got it now, one of the hooks was having a hard time reseating. all good, thanks!

Just went through this, cost me 5k total. They ended up taking out my A750f, sending it in, having it rebuilt, and installing the rebuilt one right back in- so technically, I still have the same transmission ha ha. Came with a good warranty, truck is driving great.

Thanks for this! I am having heck of a time getting my panel on the back of the seat back in, any tips?

2001, tan. Bought it from my parents in 2006 and have been driving it all across the US since. It’s been in Georgia 3 times, Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, Kansas twice, and now going to FLorida in June.

Glad it worked out!

Seeing as to how no one answered, I can tell you what I did- scrape all the dry rot foam off, get yourself an 18x32 sheet of dynamat and cover the whole box. But if your bass sucks or is blaring that old speaker is probably shot.

I pulled the trigger on a Blue 07 LC two years ago, it had about 145k when I bought it. It was in cherry condition and I paid for it ha ha, but I love it. Still can't bring myself to part with my 01 LX470, even though it is in rough shape. Maybe I'll get around to restoring it after I retire in...

Cheers, looking for the wiring harness that runs from ECU back to the right rear speed sensor etc- no idea part number. Muffler rusted out, and melted the wires up there into glop- now I have xmas tree lights on my dash. Thanks!

My two cents, if you are patient and set up alerts on car guru's and the like, you can find a well priced ride with lower mileage that has been babied- I found one in ATL with 200k that had been back to the same dealer every 5k miles for 18 years. Drove like a champ. Always check for rust!!
