    What color is my Windshield???

I know this is an old thread and post but hoping to find a definitive answer on the correct tint for my 1994 Land Cruiser. The Toyota dealership shows my windshield as 56111-60060 with "Blue" in the description. Are blue/green interchangeable? Did one replace the other? The local shop which...

    Cracked Block 1FZ-FE

The first time I noticed mine was when I accidentally bumped the shifter into neutral on the interstate and the RPMs spiked for a second. Could have been completely unrelated but I saw steam and after investigating, I found the leak and previous repair attempt. Curious to see your results. I‘ve...

    Cracked Block 1FZ-FE

FWIW, the local Toyota guru here in CO (everyone in the local club recommends him and he's usually booked up) said to try Bar's Leaks. I have it sitting on the shelf but just haven't tried it yet. I've taken my 80 up mountain passes and down forest service roads without any issue. Not to say...

Hey @BillyGoatMTB, this is the thread I started when the other one went silent. Maybe someone else will chime in here if they've had any different experiences.

    Leaking Freeze Plug

I've never heard anything about catastrophic failure unless you were to lose the freeze plug altogether but I don't see any way the crack would cause that. I've been driving mine like this for 3 years and I'm sure the crack started long before then - there was evidence of a previous repair...

    Leaking Freeze Plug

I'm not sure what the OP ended up doing. I ended up draining coolant, pulling the freeze plug, grinding a V-notch along the crack (and tried stop-drilling the crack but who knows if I actually hit the end), then filling the notch with JB weld. That said, my "fix" only lasted a year or so and...

    Leaking Freeze Plug

Have you read through this thread? Looks to be the same spot that several people have had coolant leaks, only to find that the block is cracked just under the freeze plug. I’d clean the area thoroughly and investigate closely to see if you have the infamous crack.

MUDShip Vehicle ship GA to AZ

@Riverrunner and @Sixfootmartian Maybe I could hop in on this? Trying to get a roof rack shipped from ATL to Denver area but open to meet further away. I see @Riverrunner is from Denver so maybe this would work out? Just a thought and could help reduce shipping costs without much added weight...

    Cracked Block 1FZ-FE

Last year I noticed a crack in the engine block of my 94 FZJ80, just below a driver's side freeze plug. It's an almost identical issue to the one noted here: Leaking Freeze Plug The above thread fizzled out with no real solution so I figured I would start a dedicated thread to this issue. If...

    Leaking Freeze Plug

Another bump here... I ground and a epoxied the crack with JB Weld and replaced the freeze plug but my leak has resurfaced. @LuckyOreo and @Knoxnate any luck with repairs?

MUDShip Roof rack from GA to CO

Ha, that just may be the next move if I can't figure out how to ship it for a reasonable cost in the next month or two. I'm not in a huge rush but just hope to figure it out before summer. I will let you know if I decide to sell it.

That's not bad at all. I appreciate the info. I saw one of your racks for sale in SLC but it's more of a trek than I can make right now... definitely tempting
