    Your lucky you have dipstick. Full hot will be where the 2nd set of hash marks meet the upper line. Post a pic.

    The hot line is where the dipstick should be at when the vehicle is at full operating temperature - which means in the case of the transmission, it should also be a full operating condition which will be after the car has been driven for some time, not just idling in a driveway.

    get a can of electric clean or contact cleaner, remove all fuses and hit the fuse terminal blocks with this spray to clean things up. this may not fix the problem but it's good PM anyway and it looks like you have some crud in that fuse block.

    Unless you disconnect the battery, I would suggest not parking it in a garage or too close to any buildings or trees until you get this resolved.

    no sure what "degreased the motor" entails but if you sprayed water in the engine compartment that could be the source of your electrical gremlins.
