If I remember correctly, the system only allows for a limited number of keys to be added and once this limit has been reached, some keys must be deleted before more can be added.
The procedure is listed somewhere on this web site but I don't have time at the momeny to dig it up
I bought my LC with only one key, but fortunately it was the original OEM master key. However, having one key is not an optimal condition as it can be a single point failure.
So, I ordered a cheapo replacement key from Amazon, had the key cut by a locksmith, programmed the FOB myself using...
I've had that issue since the day I purchased my 100 (used).
However, I've been assured by the good folks on this furum, that it's the way those lights are supposed to work.

And that, dear friends, is how you close out a post when the problem is solved.
Instead of just saying something along the lines of "Nevermind, I fixed it", or even worse, just disappearing without saying ANYTHING, actually give the solution so that others with the same, or similar problems can...
I've been having a similar problem although my cruise control works fine.
It's just that the "Resume" function doesn't work at all.
It blinked at me on just one occasion when I was doing random things trying to see if I could get it to work properly, but since then, nothing.
Cruise works, Resume...
I used RustOleum primer and paint. I haven't bounced them off of any rocks yet, but it's holding up nicely to the scuffs and scrapes from people getting in and out.
They didn't say anything about the steering rack. I took it in for a lube job and they told me my tie rod ends were worn and that's what they quoted me to change them.... Along with $400.00 for valve cover gaskets.
I was wondering that myself. My Toyota dealer quoted me about $1000.00 for tie rod ends, and another $600.00 to install them, and Rock Auto shows them around $22.00 each.
That's one HECK of a price difference
Got my sliders in Friday morning, primed 'em Friday afternoon, painted 'em on Saturday, and installed 'em on Sunday (today).
Now if the weather would cooperate and drop the temperatures into the low 90's or somewhere thereabouts, I could go and see how easily rattle can paint scrapes off.
