Should work well. I zip tie bits of fuel hose over latches to cut down on rattles. Might also consider putting hose over the chains for the same reason and to protect the paint.
Well, I have a few odds and ends left but I'm calling it done-ish. Won't there always be a few things to do? Am cosidering adding electic power steering.
Well, the first drive was to the gas station. It made it but then would not start after. Luckily it was close, so we could tow it back with the spare LX. After replacing the fuel filter, all was good.
Bought some two part undercoating/rust preventative from Eastwood and coated the underbelly. Really dressed it up! Also added some Bilsteins from City Racer.
Sorry @adavis, I can't help you with a comparsion. I've only bought OEM. One consideration is whether you are keeping the truck long term. If so, you should
consider going OEM.
Let us know what you decide.

I used an oil plug gasket from my 1975 40 on my 10/79 tank. Perfect fit. I’ve attached a photo. The PN is 90430-25003. @OGBeno may have thoughts on whether this is appropriate.
Yes. The PO had welded angle iron to mount the winch which made things easy. The problem was the fairlead. My crew fabbed up brackets for the fairlead. Worked out well!
