The best question someone asked me about my build came before I even began building my Land Cruiser. Nate Day (@somedayadventure) and his dad asked me, “What do you envision for your truck?” At first I was like, “Something cool, big tires, and off road brah!” They laughed at me, I cried ugly...

Truck. Check. Brakes. Check. Tires. Check. I’m almost ready to roll. I needed to get some more clearance and better suspension setup to handle the weight of the overall build. I had a connection to piece together a suspension setup from a few different companies. I was worried about piecing...

I need to stop talking to you! Lol I’m on Craigslist looking at Cabovers again. My wife would kill me! That’s awesome. I hate seeing good quality campers just sitting. It’s refreshing to see someone who uses theirs daily.

Dang!!!!!! That’s sweet! I am a frequent traveler for work as well and may actually have a location change for a year or two. That’s why I considered your same setup. That’s an awesome setup my friend.

I had a few issues with them. 1) I had the wheels rebalanced twice and still had wobbling at speeds greater than 35. 2) offroad performance wasn’t what I needed from a set of AT tires. 3) the price comparison, while cheaper than BFGs the lack of performance is evident. The old adage “you get...

Awesome. What kind of truck and camper. I originally thought I wanted a cab over setup but then this rig came a long. My goal is to take my four year old out for a week or two at a time and be pretty self sufficient.

Lol!!! This is true. I, uhhhh am a tad short. Ha! 5’6. But the heavy springs aren’t compressed hardly at all. No rear bumper yet, fridge in the back wasn’t loaded, drawer system isn’t installed, etc. once it’s loaded up, it’ll sit lower.

Yea it’s lifted 2.5 inches on OME heavy lift of shocks, Coils, and torsion bars. The ride is so smooth still and versatile!

So there I was, all alone on a dark and stormy night. The pass was an insurmountable obstacle of rock and slippery slopes. Just me and my UZJ100. Actually, I was on a trail near my house at noon and I made it to the top just fine. But, as I worked my way up the hill I relied heavily on...

Thanks man! I’m running an OME 2.5 inch heavy lift with BFG KO2 285/70r17s on 17 inch Method MR309s. I’ve got some awesome stuff waiting to be installed on the rig from dissent which will help level the lift off and set everything up nicely.

I went to Sedona years ago, before having an adventure rig. It is definitely on the top of my list for destinations. It’s beautiful

So I got my dream rig home on a Sunday afternoon. Right away I was eager to make some changes and get this thing trail ready. But first, the loud squeal I was hearing had to be addressed. I tackled myself, despite not being the most mechanically savvy dude on planet earth. *Insert ass kicking...
