Just purchased this. Thanks! Even if it only lasts 1/4 the time of my OEM one (20 years!!!), it will still be money well spent. This option will leave me with the OEM motor to rebuild for a back-up if the china drop in part fails.

Nice. Now Im thinking about using one of those magnet mounts on the metal bracket (I was originally thinking about the RAM mount) so I can alternate between cell phone and Lowrance...depending on what im doing e.g. cell phone for cruising around town or Lowrance for off road. Thoughts?
