1988 FJ62 My horn works but it doesn’t sound good. I though I needed to replace the horn but now I’m thinking it might be the pin. Would a bad pin produce a tin-like, thin horn sound? Has anyone ever swapped out the horn before with an aftermarket horn?

1988 FJ62. My rear heater still blows air but recently stopped blowing hot air. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

I bought a set of Sylvania 1157 bulbs and replaced brake light bulbs (which are double filament for brake lights and rear parking lights) and voila… problem solved. The 17+ volts must have fried the LED bulbs and I’m guessing there is a fail safe built in to inform the driver there is an issue...
