I bid so high on that one because it's the exact color combination of my beloved '99. Riverock Green Mica over oak (tan) is the best color combo in the 100 series IMO.

Thank you! Part of the difficulty is I'm looking for low rust, low(er) mileage, in specific colors (basically the dark silvers - riverock, galactic gray - or lighter silvers like thundercloud). Happy to ship it home from anywhere in the country though - just gotta be quick on the draw!

I paid $6,850 for my ‘99 with 185k miles in 2017. The world done changed. I wish now that I’d paid up for a cleaner example.

Yeah that was surprising to me. The clean frame one sold for $39,300 but I’m surprised the rust didn’t depress the price more. I was expecting $25ish. Are 100 series prices still climbing? I may be getting priced out of what I think a clean 100 is worth.
