I might add to my post, I think 7cm will go better overall. On the video of 60-100, boost did reach 28psi. The 7cm turbo might bring that boost earlier, maybe at 90kmh. I think I need to play with the IP timing as turning the primary up a little has changed the timing of the IP, I'm at a spot...

Hi mate, I'm guessing it'll Boost maybe 1 to 2 psi higher at cruise and slightly hotter egt, maybe 30c. Quicker to boost aswell Slightly less revvy at top, past 3k rpm and hotter egt again. Can someone chime in and guesstimate better :) my egt was about 460c at 100kmh on vid. Cheers.

Changed my fuel filter 12month old, 10k travelled. Much better whith new filter. To celebrate, video of 60-100kmh run in 4th gear

Slight incline. Fuel is now 1 turn in for main, 2 turn out for boost compensator. Cheers

I don't claim that my setup is perfect, what's your version of perfect(compromise) efficiency? It's what this thread was about. GT22? TD04? CT12B sounds good too mate. But I'd go TD05 7cm I think paying less than $2.5k for a turbo is getting closer to perfect:)

You can tell I'm new at posting on a forum... I'm going to investigate the off-boost screw. The wire has been cut by po, I think fuel turned down to compensate for the clapped out ct26 on there before.

They do mate, it's a shame to cover it up. It's rated to 30psi. It comes alive past 8psi, the boost needle moves twice as fast. It has a 80's turbo car 'flavour' about it. The way the needle swang past 25psi, I believe it can hold it there if you wanted. I set mine at 15psi. It came with 5...

Toyota flange on already. Here's the daytime pic. The roo bar is from a wrecked VE Ute, B&S spec by tuff bullbar. The Ute was rolled and totalled. I bought it cheap from the wreckers after a Hyundai decided to pull out in front of me without looking in the mirror... The insurance payed out and...

I went and changed a couple of things on the set up. I removed the caked up glow screen., idle sounds better. I went and tapped the glow screen holder for pressure reference for the gate and compensator, much better for running no smoke and rev rises cleaner. I had the reference from the IC...

Sorry for the quality, I just went out front with a torch. I try to have as many coloured silicone hoses as possible. Quick and cheap jobs too. I was adding a bigger tank as a reservoir this arvo. Cheers
