Yes the cams gotta come out. About to start that now haha, I’ll update what i find once it’s yanked. I’ll proably be replacing it with an oem Toyota Steel gear, just found oem part number. I’d assume i should replace the crank gear as well?
Howdy Keep in mind that there is a possibility the nut was not original and it sat too high to get the Cotter pin in. So if the Net was wider than the original it may have had to be tighter. In the past I have always got mine hand tight in about a half turn to a full turn past.

Sure, car runs and drive great all the lights work, spedo works turn signal indicators and cluster lights work, but fuel oil and and temp gauges dont move, when tested with a multi meter they are getting 12 volts though
Fuses are all good, sending units are not known to be good, but each sender is getting 12v at the actual sending unit. And getting 12 volts at each gauge And i followed the wiring diagram so they should be wired right.
