Hi can anyone point me towards a thread (or provide the info) where someone has converted a 1kzte to a 1kzt? I am putting the 1kzte in my 70 to replace the 2lt so need it to all be mechanical.

Hi I replaced the viscous fan on my LJ70, i weas going to replace the oil but when i took it to pieces it wass full of a brown sludge that had worn it so badly there was loads of play in it so i just bought a new one and the difference was amazing.. You could hear so much more air being moved...

So here it is.... I Ordered 63251-60062 and it doesnt fit! Looks like the original seal has this rear flap attached to it and the new seal is a different profile and doesnt have the flap . Dammit!

I think Ill order 63251-60062 that looks like it may be the right part

That number 63252-60010 looks to be the weather strip for the metal frame that supports the sunroof, im looking for the seal that goes on the glass . like the dude did in the link above

Thanks, was a good read, are you sure weatherstrip is same? amayama show a part no. for the 70 but says discontinued and doesn't offer a replacement no. Don't have a lot of options though really!
