Appreciate your input. I bought a 13B bell housing which is a bolt on fit with the LJ72 5 speed gear, 2B motor and its clutch assembly so solved the input shaft match issue. Had a test run yesterday and the motor seemed unbothered (but definitely not like a turbo, after all it's 45 years old...
