Finally fixed the tick from the passenger side manifold. I used OEM studs and gasket with a Dorman manifold from autozone. Mine only ticks from passenger side and with lifetime warranty on Dorman unit I won’t be mad if I have to put in a new one in a few years. Pretty simple repair if you can...

Just bought these from Toyota this week. No white paint marking on it, no in or out symbols . I did stainless side to the engine and black side to the manifold . Sounds good so I think that’s the way to go.

Been seeing conflicting info here. Does the black side of the gasket with the raised grooves for each cylinder go toward the engine ? Or the shiny side with the recessed grooves toward the engine? I also noticed my old gasket has 2 “points” (bottom gasket is old one) where as my new one only...

Hey! There’s a clip that holds the upstream o2 sensor that goes onto the passenger side exhaust manifold. Mine disintegrated. Does anyone have a replacement part that we can get for it? I called Mr T today and they said it’s not available through them.

All the parts I installed are OEM or denso. Fan clutch is fine it’s stiff as when I turn car off can’t spin it easily. I finally bought a proper device to clean the radiator fins but my passenger side manifold is off now so I’ll wait til that’s done to clean it. I did notice a small difference...

I’d check thermostat and fan clutch health first. 180-190 seems to be pretty average for most people.
