    Clamps are OE, circular spring-type clamps. Purchased new at parts store during rad swap. I have not used worm drive clamps. Heard they were not recommended.. maybe I confused that info. Wouldn’t tightening that connection with a worm drive clamp cause the hose to swell again and build up too...

    Yank your rad cap and tell us what the underside of it looks like or snap a photo. Same with your oil dip stick. Hoping it's just the valley plate or something similar and not what I think it could be. And I've owned plenty of Subarus that had similar symptoms, if you know what I mean.

    I've been interested in getting an OBD and Techstream for this reason. Just haven't done it yet. The OBD I have will only read simple engine codes.

    Finally snapped a photo of mine. Changed radiator, hoses and clamps, and thermostat. Kept same old radiator cap, need to order one. Don’t mind the tpms light
