Put in some new rear brake cylinders and inner axle seals yesterday and today installed the 12 pin trailer plug along with switches for the trailer battery charger and trailer axillary. And a trailer breakaway battery monitor for in the cab.
Hi guys, many of us out there have big Toyota straight six engines. I have a 2H and alot of the time struggle to reach down the back of the engine to say change the glow plugs or do valve clearances on cylinder 6.

Been doing a bit of work on the wiper motor. Mine failed, cracked around the hub where the metal shaft joins to the gear. I couldn't get a new one, so I got another used one but it was broken in the same place. So I took it to a machine shop and got them to make a press fit sleeve to fit over...

More bits done yesterday, new brake shoes, springs, bearings and seals in the rear. I also upgraded the axle studs up to the 12.9 grade Allen screws for added strength.
Fitted the transmission to transfer bypass hose today, have been getting lots of oil in the transmission with the input seal weeping the tacho cable jumping, hopefully this will sort some of that out

Hi Guys, looking at wiring an EDIC switch on a diesel, Do you think it should be switched before or after the fuse?
I was thinking before the fuse so that if the switch has issues then the EDIC will be protected
