How do you tell if the leak is from Oil pump instead of Crankshaft seal?

When I got the car, I wasn’t sure what the previous owner used, so I went with HM oil just to be safe. If there’s no harm in keeping it, I can probably stick with it. 1-10 How would you rate the difficulty of replacing the oil pump without removing the engine, assuming replacing the timing belt...

How do you tell if the leak is from Oil pump instead of Crankshaft seal?

After removing the lower timing cover, I can basically confirm the leak is from the top of the oil pump

How do you tell if the leak is from Oil pump instead of Crankshaft seal?

Which tensioner pulley are you referring to? Are you asking about the timing belt tensioner pulley with the washer I mentioned? I followed the OTRAMM channel and didn't see the guy seal that bolt. I removed the fan clutch, crankshaft pulley, and lower timing cover to inspect the lower area of...

No, I don’t think I did this I also realize that I could miss installing the tensioner pulley washer, do tkt021 come with the washer or I have to reuse the old one?

How do you tell if the leak is from Oil pump instead of Crankshaft seal?

A month ago, I replaced the timing belt and crank seal on my vehicle. While doing so, I noticed some minor rust on the crankshaft, which I cleaned off and applied a thin layer of RTV (FIGP) around it. I believe the installation was done properly. (OEM seal from partsouq) However, the oil leak...

    Strange sque

Some people tell me it's normal sound from the valvetrain, but it will decrease when the engine warms up

    Strange sque

I don't think so, at least not obvious. The bracket bearing will spin no matter if the fan is engaged, so it could be the bracket as well. any ideals to diagnose?

    Strange sque

Hey everyone, I'm hoping to get some advice on a persistent issue. My engine makes a squeaking sound when it's cold. I’ve disconnected the belt and replaced the fan clutch (not running anyway) Still hearing the squeak, and it’s driving me nuts. What's next? Water pump? Any insights would be...

Is anyone experienced with the terrain tamers shock for the 100 series?

It seems to be more popular in the older LC. I can't find any information about them in the 100 series. Any thoughts?

Power steering pump failure after alignment at Dealership

It's very strange that when I was at the dealership, the fluid was leaking extremely fast, with the reservoir emptying within 10 minutes. I tried twice, and it leaked completely just from starting the car and letting it sit there. However, when I brought the car home and parked it in my garage...

Power steering pump failure after alignment at Dealership

I checked the engine bay and took the first two pictures. Do you think this pipe is popped? The guy says there's nothing wrong with this pipe. The third picture shows them trying to show me the fluid was from the pump
