    CV axle seals help.

Hopefully I dont get banned! I gently pulled the seal that I drove too deep. It slipped right out, I examined it and it looks fine. I have an oreillys brand "precision" seal that I can install if you all think re-using the seal I pulled is a bad idea. The seal I installed was OEM. The precision...

    CV axle seals help.

Next quick question, the old paper gasket under the large dust seal did not appear to have any gasket sealer on it. When I install the new paper gasket, should I use gasket sealant (permatex ultra black) or should I leave the paper gasket dry?

    CV axle seals help.

This new seal just seated in a tiny bit deeper than the old seal. I will post a Pic of the part number on the bag tomorrow...

When we bought it, it had about 107k miles on it. I replaced wheel bearings a few years ago. But now...

Metal-Tech 2019 GROUP BUY for Bumpers and Sliders!

It is definitely black in color, I would say similar to the color of a black charcoal briquette. Here is a couple better pics in daylight, the first showing the real color and the second is a close up of the texture(the color is less accurate). If you have ever used the rustoleum "hammered"...

Metal-Tech 2019 GROUP BUY for Bumpers and Sliders!

I started top coating my POR-15 application with gloss black rustoleum and just wasn't happy with the shiny look. After fully coating all surfaces twice with the gloss black rustoleum I chose to use this truck bed coating product from rustoleum as the final coat. It's called "Truck Bed Pro...
