I've done the entire brake system from master cyl back already. All other pads are almost 100% so I just pulled the e brake shoes until I get time to look at the ebrake cable etc
Pretty sure my ebrake shoes aren't supposed to be crumbled apart. No wobble in the wheel bearings and the hub spins really smoothe. May replace or repack them anyway. Thanks all
Brakes were done last year and are great. No other changes or major repairs of the sort. I DID paint the wheels on the truck so may have got some paint on a caliper or rotor.
Started out as only a squeak. A little faster squeak than brake pads. Then one day I got a big click about once every...
The drivetrain guy said with 260k ish miles he thinks the clutches might be worn and sticking and didn't open it completely but didn't see any real bad damage. Said to try a friction modifier to find out. To tear it down to look further is extensive. I found a used axle in a junkyard for 600ish...
Was getting a squeaking and slight binding sensation in the drivetrain. Parked it immediately and got it into the shop today. I was told only one wheel spins but he wasn't able to replicate the squeaking or popping.
Was hoping it was just a u joint..
Pickup only, about an hour north of Madison.
They're dirty and the middle seats have some slight cracking but nothing major and no big tears. Should clean up well with some time and effort. Back seats are very good but dirty on the backs.
250 for both rows of seats and belts or make an offer.
Runs and drives great. I took it out West with zero issues and would drive it anywhere right now.
256,000 miles.
Entire brake system is newer and lots of basic maintenance has been done.
Significant body rust at the edges but the frame and center underbody are solid with minor surface rust...
When running in park, the "brake" light, oil level light, and a/t oil temp lights are on since the starter swap and push button addition. Both these systems are fine. The oil light has been going on/off for a while before this but none else.
In gear, these extra dash lights go out and all is...
Yes good idea but I checked. They're old but there's power through all of them. I will replace them and get a spare set anyway. I've checked the common causes.
Kinda weird but after I put the new starter in, I got a faint click when turning the key. Now with the exciter wire off and the spade...
All dash lights are on with key in acc position. When I turn the key the only light that goes out is the digital clock in the center dash
I might just keep this push button. Kinda cool.
NSS connection is fine and reverse lights work as well as not shifting to neutral with key out. Fuseable links get power at the connector.
No power to the starter solenoid. Test wire from battery to solenoid starts it right away. So wiring in a push button for now. No time/desire to take the...
