2.5” OME lift... (heavy springs in front medium in rear) just got new 305/70r18 Cooper STT pros which are slightly taller and lil wider than my previous 35x12.50r18 BFG KM2’s.
New Paper gasket with the red gasket tack goo from Napa... both sides, is what I did on mine. idk would that be considered a good compromise? I haven’t needed to take apart yet and have no leaks but I feel that red goo will be irritating to remove?
I’ve got to chime in on this as well...
1992 80 series
I too have been way overthinking this 10ply E rated versus 8ply D rated tire thing... slightly different sizes but the same questions tho... I’m running at 35x12.50R18 D rated BFG KM2. These have been an excellent tire on all fronts...
Got a 1995 full float with disk brakes that I've been rebuilding almost ready to go in! Also bought an ARB locker to go in it as well!
Feeling pretty good to soon have a legit 3 wheel drive! Rebuild consisted of all new brakes... Calipers, rotors, pads, park brake shoes. New axle seals...

I will share the details of the swap... As best as I can recall anyway with some close up pics.. And my results... Which honestly aren't as good as I would have expected... They work well but do not have the Holy Crap those are some powerful brakes feel. I've done the big brake upgrade with all...
*edit* If you need additional weight you could consider the optional On Board Ballast System! ;) Crazy they really drain into rocker area... I had wet carpet after heavy rain... Then pulled plug to have a minute of steady water pour out... keep an eye on drains or avoid prolonged exposure to...
I still haven't taken the time to figure out why mine don't work either... Seems like they should... I also need to investigate my tach as well... Has never worked and it also should... If I figure anything out I'll post
Has anyone had any thoughts our noticed these 100 series pads sticking past the rotors? It is about 1/8"... Not sure it'll be an issue... Also not sure I like it... I'll probably go with matching 80 series pads next time... :meh: especially if the main Bene is 100 series pads last longer... I...
