I can do voltage tests on Monday if you specify at which points or any other tests that may help. is there a wiring diagram of the wires to coil somewhere I can use to check my uphook? Also is it possible a faulty condenser may cause this, I have one and points on order and will be Wednesday...

Ok thanks, my new carb did not have that guess was lost, the one from old carb not interchangeable

I don't have a pic, but thanks. I mean where the cable end connects to the actual choke on the carb, not the hold-down bracket.
