All dry so far. I live in England so no doubt about the vigorous testing carried out over the last couple of weeks. If you are in any doubt at all, just get it done, the seal is much cheaper than electrical repairs.

Batteries disconnected and reconnected - AHC working all of a sudden (I previously had no sign of AHC on the dash)! I’m not saying it’s impossible that there are still water issues but wipers are now the only remaining problem and I was thorough in the electrical work - car off the road for months.

Well I think that’s worth me spending a little time looking at the stalk, based on your experience. There is a reasonable chance it’s one of the 3 major components (stalk, ECU, motor) at fault and I have no better ideas myself. No fault codes present! Thanks for your help!

I haven’t currently got Techstream but I’m discovering that there are ways to obtain it. It’s clearly not even trying to work or I’d get some faults, either on the dash or when scanned with snap on versus.

So it does! No idea why I’ve never noticed that before! It seems to have no effect and doesn’t illuminate the ‘AHC off’ light on the dash, as suggested in the manual.

As far as I’m aware, it doesn’t have an off button like the 100 series?
