I had the code pop up on me while on the trail, it went away after clearing it a couple times. I will be getting the relay JIC. I dont drive my 80 often but when I do, I go far out and wheel it, need to have it 100%. Thanks for part # John

Does anyone have this header with sliders? Preferably WK sliders? Trying to make sure they can work together before I order

Are you running sliders? If so, how was fitting the straight pipe in the bottom? Care to share a picture of how the exhaust sits with sliders installed?

You replace the OEM alternator bracket with a custom one that alllows for the physically larger alternator. You could put back the OEM alternator if you also have the OEM bracket with you. The install is not bad at all.

I had this issue a few days ago, when I opened the motor, I got about 3 pounds of beachsand come out. Ordered an Aisin replacement and its working like a charm now. They're not cheap tho! Around 500$. Hope yours is salvageable. The issue it could probably be having is the magnets that attach...
