    Rusted frame repair.

I bought a 2002 4wd Tacoma std cab, 2.7liter 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual. I bought this online sight un-seen which is not the a recommended poll thing to do so I got screwed. The vehicle is great with the exception of the frame. I see some repairs and I see some rust perforation on the...

No Weathertech floor liners for manual transmission?

I have a 2002 4x4 std cab w 5 speed transmission and i need floor mats. I looked at the Weathertech site and it only has them listed for an automatic transmission. I emailed them just incase it was an error on the site but they replied they don't have them for the 5 speed manual. Frankly I don't...

UPDATED FIXED!!!! Electrical issue- no dash lights, no head unit, no windows, can not shift, no radio, no interior lights, no wipers

I would also verify that you have a good ground. You can connect some jumper cables from negative to an unpainted part of the engine for a quick check to see if things improve.

Rear brake caliper was sticking a little so I decided to replace the rotors and pads.

I’m pretty sure they are new. You can go to their website and ask a question online, they are pretty good at answering usually within hours. https://toyotaparts.ourismantoyotaofrichmond.com/https://toyotaparts.ourismantoyotaofrichmond.com/

Front drive making clicking noise at low speeds. Anyone know where I should start?

The good news is the click is gone, the bad news is I don't know what was causing it. I ended up replacing all these new genuine Toyota parts: Both CV shaft assemblies, both axle diff seals , wheel bearings and seal, dust shields, brake rotors, pads, clips and I installed the Toyota caliper...

Front drive making clicking noise at low speeds. Anyone know where I should start?

That sounds exactly the same as what my 03 is doing. I’m not going to dig in too fast to repair, although it’s annoying it is intermittent and does not affect the performance. She still drives and climbs smooth and strong. When it gets worse then I’ll be able to justify the expensive parts...

Front drive making clicking noise at low speeds. Anyone know where I should start?

I tried to look for a part# or name stamp on the CV joints to verify if they are non-OEM. I searched for CV picture / images to compare them to the CV's I have. Is there something that is unique to OEM that I can look for. I'm not going to replace them until they absolutely need to but I'm just...

Front drive making clicking noise at low speeds. Anyone know where I should start?

You can you tell if they are non OEM CV’s by just looking at them? I will take a closer look when I can to try and verify.

Front drive making clicking noise at low speeds. Anyone know where I should start?

I had some neck surgery so I had to hold on my trouble shooting a bit. When i was checking the clip as per "oakback" suggestion I found that the clip was good. I did see something weird though, the wheel in question looks like the bearing got very hot at some point and melted the plastic center...

    Axles / Diffs: Clicking CV?

I have 2003 100 series with 247k miles. I have been trying to locate the source of an intermittent clicking sound, I think it is coming from my right front drive shaft. It's not really causing any problems so far other than occasionally making a noise that drives me nuts. I put the transmission...

    ARB rear bumper wiring

On my 2003 100 Series LC using the curt 56196 to wire the ARB bumper. I did this in 2021 so I’m going by some notes I kept and memory. I went nuts with mine too, being color blind doesn’t help (I had to get my kids to ID some colors. I also used a 12v test light to help me figure what was what...
