    Plug under the dash

Good Evening All, I was wondering if any of you know what this plug that comes out under the dash near the AC, and Radio consoles are. As always, thanks for any info you have.

    Clinometer/Compass Meter Option

Did you find this film to work well? I attempted to replace the film on mine but got the wrong variant so it only works in the correct sunlight conditions.

    Radiator Options

Hey Dave, I just wanted to check back in and see how that radiator went in, I am looking at doing an overhaul of the cooling system in my prado, and double checking on this old post.

    90 Series Windshield

So, it happened, my fear (a small one, but one none the less) I was heading in to work, and a rock flies up from the opposite traffic lane, and tags my windshield. Bam, chip. Hopefully I can get it sealed, but do you great folks have any suggestions on new glass for these fantastic trucks? Its...

Wanted KZJ-95 Center of Dash Info Display

Good Day Everyone, I am looking for a working (not having bad LCD) info display (temp, tilt, baro, compass) unit for a KZJ 95, mine is a 96, it kinda works, but when I attempted to refurbish the screen I got the wrong polarizing film, so it is very hard to read/see anything, and the compass...

Reverse engineering the data going to a Prado inclinometer

If you can figure this out I would definitely be interested in how you do it. Good Luck. I have tried (semi successfully) to restore the one on my rig, but lost the compass in the process, and must have used the wrong polarizing film on the screen. I would love to keep all the functionality of...

    Insuring a 90 series

That makes sense, I registered mine right away. I am glad to hear you got it sorted. Also, thank you for coming back to give a resolution to the story, that doesn't always happen.

    Insuring a 90 series

I use USAA, it may just depend on the agent you get, I saw VT's post about them not insuring his at all, but I explained it was a JDM model, and they had no problem with the VIN being the wrong digits. The guy I spoke with seemed very familiar with JDM models and was immediately helpful. The 260...

    Insuring a 90 series

Good Day, I have it listed as a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser, but then it shows the KZJ VIN. My six months rate is appx $350. My insurance handles quite a few imports too, as they insure many military members who purchase vehicles overseas. Hopefully this helps.

    Trailer Hitch for Prado

Looking at it now, I believe that I am just stupid, and either one will fit(same bolt pattern, just round vs square tubing). You do need to trim the bar they send you with the welded nuts if you want to use that(the frame on the Prado has a rear crossbar that the 4runners don't have). The nuts...

    Trailer Hitch for Prado

Hmm, I got a 13087, that must be the problem it was listed as the correct one on the seller I purchased through. I will look into the 13157. Thank you for all the help.

Hitch install, how did you do it?

@Morrtac Did you have to drill any new holes in either the hitch, or the frame? I just bought a hitch mount for a 96 4Runner, and the holes didnt line up(like an inch off). I suppose they might have sent me a wrong item though. Thanks, Jay

    Trailer Hitch for Prado

Good Day, I am looking at getting a trailer hitch for my 1996 Prado, and found that the frame at the rear is not the same as on a 96 4Runner. I know the worries with towing with the 1KZ-TE, and my intent is to be able to short haul a utility trailer for garbage dump runs (appx 15 miles), and...
