I had a similar issue, but mine 190k threw a P0420 code. Found some under torqued spark plugs and a coil that was damaged from gases bypassing a plug. Might be worth checking plugs and coils.

Looks like techstream is next. I run high quality 91 all the time so hopefully this is not the culprit. Will probably replace fuel filter while I'm at it…. at least get the easy, inexpensive items done first to rule them out.

Air filter is newish, replaced at 185k, truck now at 190k. Will check MAF and vac lines. I was wondering about fuel pump. The truck did feel sluggish, but at the time I wrote it off to lots of wind resistance, altitude and a full load.

Great perspective. Thanks. I don’t plan on much armor over the sliders and AL front bumper which should serve my need well for many years. Most of my driving is hwy to get to camping and scenic drives, so I think I fit into your category of std height most of the time.
