    2008 VDJ79

Couple of glamor shots to see how clean the truck really is. It’s stunning, especially in person.

    2008 VDJ79

Finally got it home and in front of the old trusty 77. With closer inspection, got to see a bunch of issues (some expected and others, not so much) Missing one of my fuel filler caps. It’s just not there. I am assuming who ever took it off to remove fuel before shipping didn’t bother to...

    2008 VDJ79

I bought the vehicle from Dubai. Spent most of its life in Dubai and wasn’t used much. Only 84k on the clock.

    2008 VDJ79

Thanks you. It indeed is extremely clean. I got very luck. Not a spec of rust and the paint looked absolutely brand new. However, a month after I paid for the truck, I found out that my wife was pregnant and we were welcoming our first kid. This put a bit of a damper on the excitement with...

    2008 VDJ79

Hey Everyone, just starting a build thread on my 79 series and kinda wanted to introduce myself and my truck. I have big plans for the truck but the build will be slow but hopefully worth it. Just a bit of background, I am in Canada and the truck is fully legal and registered. I have been...

    2008 GRJ79 value

Well, its the wrong interior for an 07. These guys are sketchy af and I would steer well clear of them. But that's just me. And yeah, my 2007 VDJ79 is due to arrive on Dec 24. Hopefully it wont have any more delays. I will most likely make a post here once I get it on the road.

    2008 GRJ79 value

I contacted this guy (or whoever runs the social media for the dealership). It's a legit dealership with landcruiser but they are so vague, it's weird. It's only of the reasons i dropped my interest. They wouldn't give any details and wanted me to come take a look in person. Which is hard...

    HZJ77 lift

I definitely won't have that much extra weight. Will start by taking off one leafy and seeing where it goes. I already have ome shocks all around.

    HZJ77 lift

That's exactly the type of insight I am looking for. However I already have the rear heavys and am just trying to figure out which leafs to remove. And I am kinda in your position. Rear bumper will be built, with tire carrier and fuel can carrier. Occasional roof top tent and full time roof rack.

    HZJ77 lift

That would be ideal, however due to time constraints figuring out before I install it would make more sense. Especially given the springs have been sitting for 3 months. There are lots of 77 series owners, I assume I could get an idea before the install.

    HZJ77 lift

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I am in the same spot as you were. Did you end up going Heavy/Heavy and how did you like it? I have a OME Heavy front and back in my garage waiting to be installed. I know I am going Heavy in the front but trying to decide if I should remove some leafs in the...
