    TC vacuum actuator

Is there a trick to separating the vacuum actuator from the transfer case. H55f transmission. That's the actuator on the left, tc on the right. Lots of play between but won't separate. Help?

Thanks, I thought the bevel looked well done not to be factory.

    Body Line

I'm blocking my 75 40 and is this edge supposed to be a bevel? Looks like it should but I'm not sure. Thanks

    Rear fender support bracket

Thanks for the reply. Jan. 75. Here is a shot of the right rear wheel well. Interestingly the front bracket only has the smaller bolt and a hole for the larger one. Might be PO in that the bolt is 7/16 20. The smaller one is M8 1.25.

    Rear fender support bracket

Here is a pic of my rear under fender bracket. I believe the smaller of the 2 bolts is for the jump seat. Anyone fancy a guess on the purpose of the larger bolt?

    Color name/code

The truck is a 75 but it has been repainted. It's hard to match this to various fj40 color sites. Does anyone know the color name/code/year on this truck. Thanks in advance.

    75 fj40 steering column removal.

The upper shaft to yoke appears welded. Bad P.O.. The lower yoke has a pin which I assume holds it to the hex shaft. I'll try removing the pin.

How does this come apart to remove column from firewall?

    75 FJ40 Rear Body Mounts

    Thanks. That makes sense.

    75 FJ40 Rear Body Mounts

This can't be right. Plates welded in to cover the tops of the body mount bolts. I'm guessing P.O. thought this was a good idea. Not really a mount either. Just a bolt with a chunk of rubber. How is this supposed to work?
