I think its the angle for sure. Though the 40 has a 4" lift and 33's and the 73 has a 2" lift and 245/75r16's (30's basically).

They look a lot like American Racing Wagon Wheels or something similar aftermarket. The cut outs have a tip that makes them look a little more triangular than the factory 16" ones.

What might be my dumb 73/74 question of the week. I was wondering how many of you drive around with the FRP top off and the back doors still on? Will the full doors act too much like a sail with the FRP top off? Has anyone had issues doing that? I have a 3b so the fastest its going is limited...

Those look like resistors that someone put in line to a set of lights. I am going to guess its a LED flicker solution. It was common a few years ago to do something similar for LED turn signals. But that is just a guess.

I bought my BJ73 from @Branwillith 2 years ago and he was a good guy to deal with. Honest about the condition and knowledgeable about 70 series.

I suppose you could build out a spacer between the frame and the recovery point. I wonder how much extra leverage that would put on the bolts though. Seems like there needs to be more space there even for the factory shackles to articulate. That is disappointing to see though. I was looking at a...
